Filip Clements
Filip Clements
Filip Clements is a London-based songwriter and solo artist.
His music is indie rock with pop sensibilities, written for the big stage. His debut album Soft Apocalypse is scheduled for release in the autumn of 2026.
Recorded at Eastcote Studios, the album was produced by Grammy-winners Catherine Marks (boygenius, Ed O’Brien), Martin Terefe (Yungblud, Robbie Williams) and Tord Knudsen (The Wombats), with recording and mixing by George Murphy, and drums by Karl Brazil. The record presents modern, guitar-driven songwriting led by Filip’s skewed lyrics and atmospheric, emotive vocals.
Norwegian-born, Filip grew up in a musical family. Performing publicly on guitar at school gatherings as a young child, he later chose a different path, enlisting in the army as a teenager. It was during his time in the army - far north of the Arctic Circle - that he found himself playing and writing late into the night on a broken-down piano in a small chapel. His journey toward music as a defining life choice had begun.
While developing as a writer, Filip’s talent caught the attention of Joachim Berg and Martin Sköld from the Swedish band Kent, leading to a short period of writing and recording in Stockholm. In 2022, Filip moved to the UK to focus fully on his career as a solo artist.
Fast forward to 2026 and Filip is ready to release his first single Right Place Wrong Time / Typhoon on digital and 7” vinyl via Eastcote Recordings.
